On releasing and receiving

I recently learned that in the ways of the Heavens, Saturdays are days of releasing, and Sundays are days of receiving.

Releasing on Saturdays: What are you willing to let go of?
On that special day of the week we have extra helpers around us awaiting our directions. All week long our physical senses get overloaded with images, sounds, scents, moods, and sensations that we pick up on from people or places around us. These get registered and stored within our unconscious mind and our biological cellular body. On Saturdays, we are all encouraged to and have divine assistance lined up to help us let go of all this "energetic dirt" as well as all that which no longer serves us (if we so desire) such as fear, blocks, anger, resentment, confusion, isolation, poverty mind state, etc.'

All that is required of us is to spend about 15 minutes in quiet meditation, where we turn inwards to our heart centre and have a conversation with the Divine in asking and affirming "may all unloving thoughts towards myself or another be removed, cleansed, and washed away now; and may all darkness around and within me be transmuted into light, into healing, and into unconditional love and forgiveness for the greatest good of all."

Then we are simply to sit in stillness and await Spirit's loving guidance whispering in our ear.
It may come in a way of an intuitive message, a vision, a 'voice,' or a simple blank moment of peace and tranquility. Welcome what comes, and don't forget to breathe, as through the breath and your pure intention know that all concerns are leaving your physical body, and that you are surrounded by beings of light willing and ready to envelop you with their unconditionally loving presence. Happy releasing!

Receiving on Sundays: What do you truly desire?
On Sundays, our gracious Celestial guides and angels are awaiting for us to make up our minds and truly state what it is that we are desiring. However there's a catch: to receive the help, we

(a) need to know what we truly desire

(b) desire something that is for the greater good of all, not just to benefit our own self. When we bless others and send our intention to be of service and live our purpose, we often times receive ten folds or more of that blessing.

Not knowing what we truly desire and repeating unhealthy patterns:
Often times we think we know what we want, but deep within us lies dormant a conflict of desires... It is much like writing an email but keep editing the content, saving it as DRAFT, and then wondering why the person on the other end does not respond... We must be clear in our intention of what we wish to say or ask for and then send it (LET GO) in order to receive the reply :)

The Course in Miracles teaches "What you do is determined by your perception of the situation, and that perception is wrong. Thus you do not perceive my own best interest" (A Course in Miracles: Workbook for Students, lesson #24). Indeed, if we base our interpretation of any situation merely on our human perception, we have fallen victims to an illusion, as our human brain can only perceive through filters of our own projections and beliefs. Moving from perception (human sight) to vision (higher Divine sight) is required through a process and training (this is another article all together!). Thus although most times we think we know what we want, a deeper layer within us (our Ego, here to teach us lessons) places clever obstacles in our way to growth in the shape of fear, excuses, busy schedule, sudden illness (often times comes as a form of paralysis of some kind), or pointing the finger towards another instead of looking at our own part in taking responsibility of the situation (projections of our shadow). We then tend to view ourselves as helpless victims as the world's events happen to us rather than by us. When we keep repeating the same patterns without examining the lesson at hand, we find ourselves wondering why we do not get what we want and repeatedly pray for...

One thing that I find helpful when catching myself repeating unhealthy patterns is to ask myself: What is the mirror that is being presented to me here? By asking the question (and letting go of waiting for the answer), I have allowed the field of all possibilities to deliver the answer to me as the lesson I must learn here in order to change a habit, unhealthy pattern, or break free from a toxic person or situation. Once I learn the hidden meaning of the lesson, often times a deeper level of release happens and I am free to move onwards with my life, wiser and more liberated to co-create what I desire.

And so get clear of what it is you desire, and if you feel do not perceive your own best interest, it is best to "let go and let God" in affirming: "I ask for Divine help in removing all blocks and fears to my success, health, joy, and abundance so I may be a vessel of unconditional love and compassion. I know that all situations are being lovingly presented to me as lessons and mirrors for my own highest best in growth, healing, and expansion of my soul's purpose which is to be of service"
Today is Sunday. This morning I asked to receive the following:

A clarity of mind as to how to expand my service to humanity, the animals, and the planet

A smile

A hug

A flower

A moment of pure love

Here's what I received thus far:

Clarity as to the next phase of my ministry and purpose while visiting my friend John at a local spiritual centre

A big sincere smile: from a homeless man outside the grocery store I walked into

A hug from my friend John, who was initiated today as a Prayer Practitioner

A flower: from my 86 year old grandfather in Israel who sent me an email power point presentation of flowers

A moment of pure love: from my beloved cat Bauer who came for a snuggle with me on the sofa.

Happy receiving to all! :-)

Thanks for this Shiri, I have quite naturally found that I need to take time to let go of the week on Saturdays. I often chastized myself because I 'should' be doing something else. This is quite liberating and validating to know that I have been on the right track with this all along.
