(In preperation for a Sep 23, 2010 talk and workshop to be given in Vancouver, B.C. with of the same topic, hosted by Conscious Living Network Events)
Imagine this: our ONLY job as humans is to be an Antenna!Earlier today I was sitting at my desk looking something on the internet. I visited a website that required me to set an online password that once chosen, will be instantaneously delivered to me through my cell phone. I was amazed: Within a nano-second of clicking “send” my new password appeared on the screen of my cellular phone! I smiled (with relief) as I thought to myself that should I have been caught sending invisible energy signals between one device to another a couple hundred years ago, I would have likely been persecuted or burned, referred to as a “witch” or “mentally insane.”
In ancient civilization humans were able to commune and communicate with one another, with nature, and with the animal kingdom through telepathy and an innate ability to direct focused intention onto a specific goal. It used to be believed that the distance between things is void and vacant. Now we know through quantum physics and study of matrix energy that this isn't so, and that an overcastting electromagnetic field of life connects us all to one another and therefore to a universal collective consciousness that is the One Mind.
As humans we are conditioned to apply thought to situations that require problem solving almost forgetting that we have within us an intelligence, a technology much mightier than that: our connection with the infinite higher intelligence that provides all the answers and that is accessible to us through mere asking for it.
"When you think, you lose consciousness" I once heard in a dream. This was not my voice; it came from a deeper, must wiser place deep within my soul… And it came with an explanation: in the dream I saw myself not as a body, but as a floating spirit, sort of energy made up of a cluster of light molecules. I was floating peacefully and in a state of deep bliss and harmony without any worries or concerns of the physical realm. I remember the sensation of utter peace that accompanied this “spirit state” in my dream.
Then, something happened: I bumped into someone that crossed my path. And right away I “lost it” – I lost that sensation of lightness and peace, and immediately came back into my physical experience as a dense body. I felt confused and lost, especially since the “person” I bumped into appeared quite irritated with my spiritual clumsiness. A sense of loss and grief followed, and then I heard the words “When you think, you lose consciousness” Indeed, when we come into our physical experience and apply the mechanism of thought to situations, we tend to dis-connect from our inner ability to access a higher state of being, where we can tap into the collective consciousness for answers and guidance.

An exciting global coherence project is currently underway as a science-based initiative that measures the effects of heart-brain coherence and human emotion on the electromagnetic field of planet earth. They aim to bring about a shift to global consciousness from dis-order to balance and peace by showing us all how our emotions and thoughts spread out from our field like an energetic broadcasting station and onto the field around us. They also show us that it is our heart, not our brain, that omits the strongest of vibrations that influence brain waves of those around us!
Thus thanks to the closing gap between spirituality, psychology, and science, it is now commonly understood that energy flows where attention goes, implying that one can bring about miraculous healing onto themselves or another through prayer, affirmations, visualization, and sending therapeutic energy remotely. This is especially true when such focused intention becomes amplified by the collective energy of a group power, assuming of course that the intention is for the highest good of all.
Our aching planet is calling for our attention, and the animals are its co-guardians and our fellow travelers with much to teach us about kindness, compassion, and living in harmony with nature.
Using the same principles of heart-focused intention that would bring about healing to humans, we can also direct our intention to bringing healing to and assist animals, each other, and our only (physical) home: planet earth.
The universe speaks to us continuously and often times, with a great sense of humor (I have many examples of trying too hard to “get something,” a sign, a telepathic message, only to be met with a gentle heavenly joke on my own account…).
Communing (which is a little different from communicating, in that by communing with something we become one with it by tuning in with its energy) with all forms of life (animals, plant, our own inner teacher), is simple and easy once we “get ourselves out of the way” and open up to tapping into the language of the Divine. Opening up to these innate abilities within us constitutes one major component: LOVE.
When we move into the vibration of unconditional love (of which the animals are, in my opinion, the greatest teachers), we are able to disengage from our brain and move onto our heart – the centre of our soul or communication with the sacred, and truly feel the essence of a shared oneness with all life. This moving from intellect to intuition, and from brain to mind (the One Mind of God and the collective consciousness) is what the Course in Miracles (ACIM) calls: “The Holy Instant.”
It suggests that communication with the infinite intelligence that is God is effortlessly ours when we choose to use it, by removing the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence and learning to abandon reliance of the ego in all that it tells us about ourselves and the world.
The Course invites us to consider “would I want perfect communication (with the One Mind), and am I wholly willing to let everything that interferes with it go forever?”
If your answer is YES, and you are prepared to open or advance your innate communing abilities, be prepared to step into the magic realm of Divine Communication!
Oh, and do not forget to have some FUN and PLAY in the process – isn’t that what the animals teach us as well?
